Information We Collect
Liora may collect account identifiers, learner profile information, selected interests and learning goals, lesson progress, homework results, voice session metadata, speech transcripts or audio submitted for coaching and assessment, purchase and subscription status, device diagnostics, and support messages.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide lessons, personalize examples and coaching, generate Teach it Back feedback, manage subscriptions and voice minute balances, improve safety and reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
AI and Voice Processing
Liora uses third-party AI service providers to deliver core learning features. Realtime voice coaching, speech transcription, TTS, generated feedback, and selected learning context may be processed by xAI Grok. Pronunciation assessment may be processed by Microsoft Azure Speech.
When you use these AI features, Liora may send microphone audio, short practice recordings, transcripts, written homework answers, lesson prompts, target words, selected goals and interests, and learning progress context needed to provide coaching or scoring. The app asks for your permission before sending this personal data to third-party AI services.
These providers process the data only to provide the requested AI coaching, pronunciation assessment, transcription, and feedback services for Liora. We do not use this information for advertising tracking, do not sell it to data brokers, and do not share it for cross-app advertising profiles.
Payments
Apple handles in-app subscriptions and voice minute packs where required by App Store policy. We do not store full card numbers.
